Empyre

-empyre- facilitates critical perspectives on contemporary cross-disciplinary issues, practices and events in networked media by inviting guests -key new media artists, curators, theorists, producers and others to participate in thematic discussions.

Experimental Television Center (Facebook Group)

An active resource for sharing information about work, events, and opportunities for artists who use new electronic media technologies in their work.

PLOTS-NYC (Google Group)

The Public Laboratory for Open Technology and Science (Public Lab) is a community -- supported by a 501(c)3 non-profit -- which develops and applies open-source tools to environmental exploration and investigation. By democratizing inexpensive and accessible Do-It-Yourself techniques, Public Lab creates a collaborative network of practitioners who actively re-imagine the human relationship with the environment.

Radio Art (Facebook Group)

The aim of the Radio Art group is to create a forum for radio art practitioners and/or enthusiasts to exchange views and ideas relating to the art-form. Its goal is put radio art issues somewhere they can be acknowledged and to ignite further debate and discourse.

Sound Art (Facebook Group)

A Group for people interested in all forms of Sound Art, Advanced Modern Composition, Classic Electronic/Musique Concrete/Tape Music, Contemporary Aural Abstraction and 20th/21st Century Avant Classical Musics.

A place for underground, experimental, DIY artists from anywhere in the Upstate NY/Southern Ontario region to post info about their shows or shows they are trying to set up.
